On 29th August Kenzo will launch its new perfume, Kenzo World, a women's fragrance developed by Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, the duo in charge of creativity at the LVMH group's label since 2011. For the first time, the creative pair have brought their fashion vision to the world of fragrance.

The Kenzo World fragrances

The two creative directors, also the founders of Opening Ceremony, have developed a feminine scent (priced at €59 for the 30ml bottle and €104 for the 75 ml) devised by master perfumer Francis Kurkdjian. The fragrance's main notes are floral, notably peony and Egyptian jasmine.

The bottle was conceived by designer Patrick Li, who works closely with Carol Lim and Humberto Leon,. He has offered his own interpretation of the eye, an iconic motif for Kenzo since the Autumn/Winter 2013. The bottle's cap is instead inspired by the Kenzo Kalifornia handbag.

Finally, the fragrance's advertising campaign will be directed by Spike Jonze, the director among others of ' Being John Malkovich', and will be embodied by the actress and former dancer Margaret Qualley.

Kenzo will therefore be in the news twice: on the fashion side in fact, the label will launch on 3rd November the collection developed for H&M, which will be available in about 250 selected H&M stores and online.
